Chris pidgeon

Snr Director, Talent Acquistion, EMEAA @ IHG Hotels

Chris shared a vision for TA as an internal paid service. But done properly. This, he believed, would breed better quality, thus reputation and undeniable value. Correcting the incentives and inefficiencies in some current structures. He had some help along the way, with an AI conversational sparring partner called Maya. She had been trained on the inner workings of Chris’s TA strategic mind and piped up with some thoughts of her own. An entertaining and thought-provoking opening to our event.

 

 

Cheryl White

Talent Acquistion Director @ tide

Cheryl shared her vision for evolving talent pools. From static to flexible. From out of date to truly signal-based. She framed her concept as “Talent Clouds”. Through smarter, bi-directional communication, we can engage silver medallists, who passed the high benchmarks previously, and create primed talent for hiring today. She brought to life how these would be enabled by emerging tech and strategically critical in future.

 

 

Ben Rutter

Founder of House of Visionaries

Ben shared his thoughts on how AI would impact the structure and design of our TA function. He pegged his vision within 3 time horizons, 1 – 2 years, 2- 5 years and 5+ years. This included near term concepts like “Talent Engineers”, and future concepts of “Self Serve Recruitment” and “Bot to Bot recruitment”.
