Snyk x Bond

 

We were embedded into Snyk to support a demand plan focused on scaling the London R&D team. This meant working closely with the internal Talent Acquisition team and key stakeholders to map out hiring priorities and identify top-tier technical talent in line with Snyk’s very high bar for quality.

As Snyk entered a global growth phase, Bond’s engagement was extended beyond London, expanding to include Boston, Tel Aviv, Bucharest and Lisbon.

The partnership started in London, with Bond embedding 2 Talent Partners into the team. At Snyk, the bar for talent is exceptionally high, with a focus on finding top tech hires who combine technical depth with an ability to thrive in fast paced, product-led environments.

Bond has focused on precision headhunting to uncover this calibre of talent, while also identifying opportunities to refine the hiring process itself. Together, we’ve worked to set clearer expectations around bar alignment and streamline how top candidates move through the funnel.

That’s meant:

  • Expanding top-of-funnel reach without lowering the bar
  • Reducing feedback bias to bring stronger candidates through
  • Exploring behavioural as well as technical assessments
  • An ongoing project to simplify and combine interview stages to speed up hiring

 

 

Scaling engineering talent in Boston

 

Bond providing value in London led to the partnership expanding to Snyk’s Boston hub, which had ambitious growth targets, especially across tech. Before Bond joined, one internal recruiter managed technical hiring across the region. We joined to accelerate growth, initially focusing on external sourcing and bringing the capability to source externally in-house.

As Snyk recalibrated its hiring strategy, our embedded model flexed alongside them. We paused, realigned, and came back. Fast forward to now, with the launch of Snyk’s new AI tool, the business is in growth mode once again, and Bond is on the journey adding extra firepower.
