Simplifying the transition to green practices

 

Founded in 2019 in Northern Italy, Tinental is an AI-driven energy efficiency company transforming legacy industrial infrastructure into intelligent, self-regulating systems. Its core product, an AI-powered IoT device that integrates directly with industrial machinery, enables manufacturers to optimise performance, reduce energy consumption, and embed sustainability into existing operations.

Following a €2.5M investment round to accelerate expansion, Tinental entered a critical growth phase. Demand was increasing and product capability needed to scale.

What they did not yet have was a dedicated TA function to support this trajectory.

This is where Bond partnered to build the foundations.

And off we went!

 

Laying the foundations

 

Prior to Bond, the Tinental founding team would mainly hire through university networks, word of mouth, or LinkedIn’s free post option. While this delivered some success, it placed a significant time burden on the founders and limited access to specialist talent pools.

Bond was called in on a 4 month mission in Italy to land the core technology hires, required to power growth and unlock new project capability.

We provided dedicated talent focus, prioritising quality, cultural alignment, and targeted technical capability. The objective was clear: open access to specialist talent markets and build a scalable hiring foundation aligned to Tinental’s long-term vision.

Key hires included:

  • Firmware Engineers
  • Full-stack developers
  • AI Engineer

Bond supported the hire of a Visual Designer to elevate the UI/UX of Tinental’s web application, the platform that clients use to monitor machine performance and energy efficiency.

Results:

  • 13 offers resulting in 6 key hires
  • 703 candidates contacted
  • Activity drove 111% rise in page visits and 180% follower growth

Our approach has been centred on proactively sourcing using LinkedIn recruiter and direct outreach strategies, unlocking passive, high-quality engineering talent pools that Tinental could not previously access. This improved candidate relevance, quality and alignment with culture.

Alongside hiring delivery, we worked on a salary benchmarking exercise to ensure Tinental remains competitive within the market, avoiding both over or underpaying and while building a long-term sustainable compensation strategy.

We also delivered an Employer Value Proposition project by creating bespoke candidate packs that clearly articulated Tinental’s story, vision, and growth journey, generating genuine interest and stronger engagement.
