e-STORAGE, a subsidiary of Canadian Solar, is a global leader in utility-scale battery energy storage. The company designs, manufactures, and integrates advanced storage solutions that help balance grids, enable renewable integration, and unlock flexibility for energy systems worldwide.
At the core of their technology is SolBank, a proprietary lithium-iron-phosphate battery that powers turnkey projects from design and engineering to construction and operations. Together, these innovations are transforming how the world stores and manages clean energy.

When Bond embedded with e-STORAGE, they had recently appointed a new Senior Global HR Manager who opted for the embedded model to drive global hiring and bring consistency across regions.
Our mission was clear:

Bond went on a truly global journey with e-STORAGE, having 4 talent partners located across the world! The UK, US, Canada and Australia, powering their hiring goals worldwide.
The Australian business had lost faith in recruitment, so we placed a Bond Talent Partner on the ground to reignite trust and momentum locally. This proved critical in unlocking hiring demand and rebuilding confidence in the process.
Elevating the talent function
We ran our 5 stage talent theory audit, identifying numerous key opportunities to level up the function:
• Global benchmarking across the UK, Australia, and the US.
• Bespoke hiring manager toolkits.
• Two-phase hiring manager training.
• EVP and employer branding projects to attract top technical talent.
We also streamlined the hiring sign-off process, cutting decision time significantly. When we first embedded this was lengthy, but by showcasing data, building trust, and delivering consistently, we were able to shorten this and speed up hiring for e-STORAGE.

Our hiring mission was a heavy focus on finding key engineering roles. In just 4 months, the partnership delivered impact:
