Their technologies include Electronic Health Records (EHR), diagnostic and imaging solutions, interoperability tools and patient engagement platforms, all designed to “digitally transform healthcare” and make care more connected, efficient, and patient-centric.

Accelerating the ORBIS project

 

Dedalus called Bond in to inject hiring expertise and momentum into a major strategic initiative, scaling the ORBIS team.

ORBIS is a complete digital platform that manages all clinical and administrative processes in a hospital. It centralises patient information and supports every caregiver, from doctors and nurses to pharmacists and admin teams. In short, ORBIS is the digital backbone of a hospital.

The challenge? Rapidly scaling the team across multiple countries with highly specialist talent.

 

A 6-month sprint

 

The CEO had set an urgent goal to rapidly grow the ORBIS teams across France, Germany, Austria and Morocco, prioritising native speakers and highly specialised roles.

Roles spanned:

  • Full-stack developers
  • DevOps
  • Project managers
  • Verification engineers
  • Product owners (including those with niche clinical/doctor backgrounds) – Hard to fill profiles for the market

 

As Dedalus operates across multiple sites, including Bordeaux, Toulouse and Paris in France, and Casablanca in Morocco, Bonn and Trier in Germany and Vienna in Austria, this added another layer of complexity to sourcing and hiring.

 

Impact

An extension of the Dedauls team

 

Bond embedded directly into Dedalus’ teams and fully owned the end-to-end hiring process, including:

  • Conducting HR interviews
  • Sourcing talent across various regions
  • Managing candidates through the full funnel
  • Regular hiring manager alignment
  • Drafting offer letters
  • Liaising with HR on all admin and compliance
  • Delivering and negotiating offers with candidates

We effectively became part of their TA function, bringing the delivery speed needed to keep the ORBIS product on track.
