Charlotte Tilbury, are one of the world’s leading luxury beauty retailers. They wanted to be the first in the metaverse, providing virtual shopping to customers in their virtual store. As the retailer leans further into the digital realms of the metaverse, they continue to scale their digital and technical teams to support this.
BOND utilized our expertise in technical recruitment, problem-solving, paired sourcing, and insightful reporting to achieve Charlotte Tilbury’s hiring goals over a 3-month sprint.
Frustrated with other embedded consultancies, they turned to BOND for help. In order to build out their digital and technical teams, we quickly embedded into their internal talent function to add extra capability.
We worked closely with cross-sectional teams such as Data, Engineering, and Operations to scale each team in record time, focusing on each candidate’s technical ability and cultural fit.
One of the key challenges we addressed was the previous pain points in the recruitment process. We introduced new processes and detailed data insights to drive record growth for Charlotte Tilbury.
Our day-to-day focus included market mapping and pipelining for future roles to ensure a healthy recruitment pipeline and running paired sourcing sessions with the hiring community.

We successfully hired across a number of different technical areas including: Head of Data Science, Software engineering, delivery management, service operations management, DevOps, QA and Support.
The results were impressive. We conducted 50 interviews in just 2 months, with an average time to offer of 9 days and an average time to hire of 27 days. Additionally, over 50% of the hires were female in a male-dominated market. Charlotte Tilbury was able to scale their teams and achieve their hiring goals in record time.
